Egg White Protein Bars

Ingredients

½ cup puregg egg whites

¼ cup chia

1 teaspoon vanilla essence

¼ cup nativa natural sweetener

80g mix antioxidants

60g oats

2 tablespoons coconut flakes

1 tablespoon peanut butter

30g well naturally dark chocolate chips

 

Method

Add egg whites, chia and vanilla essence and let rest covered in the fridge overnight or at least 3-5 hours (or until a pudding like consistency achieved)

Add the other ingredients to the mixture, mix until you get a paste consistency

Spray coconut oil onto a baking sheet, pour in batter and spread evenly.  Should only be 5-7.5” deep to ensure even cooking

Place in the middle rack and bake for 20-25 minutes.  (TEMPERATURE??) Bars are done when knife can cut through without tearing/dragging soft batter with it.  Let Cool.

Cut and store in plastic bag or plastic container.
